Replacing bleed nipples
I want to replace the brake bleed nipples on my NB8A due to rounding of one and mild damage to the other three. When I inquired from a supplier (HEL in Qld) they advised the nipples come in different sizes. They have a good range but don't know which version the MX5 uses. Can anyone advise the correct specification and do they vary between front and back brakes? Thanks in advance.

Re: Replacing bleed nipples
They should just need to know the thread size and pitch.
Random web search suggests fronts are M8 x1
And rears M7 x1
Lengths 34mm and 25mm respectively.
I'd still be removing one and measuring to check the sizes are correct.

Re: Replacing bleed nipples
Vaseline and/or band aids prevent bleeding nipples (runners problem).

Re: Replacing bleed nipples
Front and rear and definitely different length as I just did a brake rebuild.
Didn't pay attention to the size though, just ordered genuine items with the rest of my stuff
