Speedo Corrector Wiring

Postby HandyAndy » Sun Aug 07, 2016 8:29 pm

Has anyone had any experience wiring a unit to correct their speedometer on their NB? I assumed that there was only one signal coming from the speedo into the cluster but it appears to be 2 wires and I don't know which one does what. I've had a look at the wiring diagrams and both yellow and orange wires are sending signals to the cluster. Does anyone have any insights?

Alternatively, does anyone know where I can source a 3.9 ratio speed sender?

I believe the tachometer wiring is totally independent from the vehicle speed sensor. There are two wires coming off the VSS: yellow and orange. Both of them go into the cluster.
