A 4 wheel alignment will fix it.
Google up how to read the date codes on tyres.

If I could go back in time to when I got my NB8A I would tell me self to:

1) focus on the paperwork. I'm no mechanic, but I'm good at reading. You'll smell a fish much better by looking through service records than pretending that you can "feel" a mechanical issue while driving.

2) when it comes to the car, the body work is more important than mechanical work (and one is indicative of the other). That is, if something does go wrong mechanically it'll be several hundred dollars to get mended at the next service. If there's a decent scratch or dent on it or you need to re-carpet and upholster or the das it cracked, it could well be thousands to fix.

So get a car that has a really robust service history and has really clean and tidy bodywork and interior.

Mine does the tramlining thing too, and I only had an alignment in the last 2 months give or take.

I suspect mine is a combination of the rumbling front bearings, and the well and old, bald, and unevenly worn tyres (you can see the tread has an angle worn into it from a few feet away)

Mines all correct now, turns out it was alignment issues ... and wait for it 20psi all round, tyres can account for a lot. Had it to a reputable tyre shop for alignment and in for a 85K service and no-one checked the tyre pressures, not even me!
Drives like a new one now.
