I think overall there would be about 6 or so different colours in the ochre so its well worth looking at and good the tourists don't get in there and hack the crap out of it. as you can see by the photos it looks nice and natural and according to what you read -has been used and traded for thousands of year and still used by the local today.

i'd say one of the places I really enjoyed to photograph the most. simply but nice and untouched. I was there in 1985 and it looked the same then or pretty close to it

you wouldn't expect to see the remains of this old ute over the top side of the far sand dune. plus a few wildflowers too :lol:
