I weighed some wheels today.
Rather than rely on the interwebs, I weighed two different wheels for my NB8A. Tyre + Rim = Wheel.
The wheel on the left is a 15x6 +40 Enkei with a half worn inflated Toyo Proxes 4 in 195/50/15. Weight 13.8 kg (Rim alone 5.9kg Ref.: http://www.jason-parker.net/images/wheels.htm)
The wheel on the right is a dealer fitted Mullins 16x7 +38 with a Stilleto 205/45-16. Weight 17.7kg
Changing to the smaller rim will save me 2.9kg per corner. The weight of 3 litres of milk.
If you have weighed your wheels please add that info.

Re: I weighed some wheels today.
I went from 15x6.5 Volks +38 (5.5kg) with 205/50/15 R888s = 15.3kg
to Kosei K1s 15x7 +17 6.2kg with 205/50/15 R888s = 16.0kg
and then to Konig Flatouts 15x8 +25 (5.6kg) with 205/50/15 NT01s (9.8kg) for total of 15.4kg
now running Yoki A050s on the Flatouts so should weigh them again to see if any diff to Nittos..

That's pretty light! My SSW's came in at 14kg (so 2kg heavier) but my wheels are a full inch wider at 7.5
Also wonder what my tyres themselves weigh being a not so great brand.

Regamasters are ridiculous. The Soviets put the Vodka down when they made them.

Re: I weighed some wheels today.
If the title had said:
"I weighed some wheels today, oh boy"
would the next verse start:
"He blew his tyres up on his car"?
PS You have to be getting older (and losing your hair) to get this.

Weirdly, there's a track on the same album about repairing a puncture.
