Which MX-5 should I buy for track use?

Also that foam on the roll bar does not look like it is the correct material, CAMS is pretty strict on the type of foam used on roll bars.

That's a bit harsh. The advice I took is that, all else being equal, an NB8B is the most cost effective starting point for building a track car. I fully agree, but this car will give me what I want and has cost me far less than anything I could have built.
