Overall 9,75/10,will be interesting to see the dyno figures next week although with the Goodwin one making about 3 ftlbs and 3 rwhp I would settle for no more power and the beautiful noise with no power increase that this set up gives.

Remember mine is a 1.5 so not sure what the 2.0 ltr would sound like..

Have changed the twin pipe tip back to a single and it is very interesting to see the change in volume,a fair bit quieter than before still same tone and very quiet at cruise. So two good alternatives depending on your preference.

After Dyno run showed no real difference in top RWKW but a couple of KW and torque increase in the midrange, pretty much the same as I got with my NC.

Will be doing the Vic Club run this Sunday(possibly only the second part from Yea on) if anyone is interested.

Also fitted a windblocker.

Thanks for the quick drive Peter. Exhaust sounded great while driving. Sounded good when you pulled away too.

Also confirmed what I've always said, the cloth seats are so much more comfortable then the leather ones.

Hello ND owners, have you noticed a sticky gum like residue (glue?) under the rubber surrounding the soft top? I took it back to the dealer and they say it is a manufacturing fault. Even if is was a manufacturing fault surely they can clean it up? Keen to hear if you have a similar experience.

I heard the other day that people need to get thicker skins. I struggle to see the fault. The certainly use lots of adhesives on cars. Whilst people look for perfection and maybe buy. Bentley a Mazda is not going to be perfect in every aspect.

AVO are starting to do performance kits for 1.5 ND's. They have ECU tunes, headers and exhausts. They're claiming an extra 20bhp if you install the full kit or 10bhp for the cat back exhaust and a better flowing air filter. Looks like all the gains are at the top end.
Has me baffled as BBR claim 160bhp at the flywheel with just a tune. Am I not understanding all these power gains?

Impressive. Both runs done in the same ratio 4.56,so the improvement is relative but what ratio is that?

Given the US issues with 2 litre gearboxes it will be interesting to see how they handle the huge increase in torque.

Hi Gobsmax. Unlike Mr M I do own an ND and can make a relevant and reasonable comment.

I have a little bit of the glue showing on mine but certainly not to the extent that appears in your photo.Mine is confined to an area about 50 cm long and I hadn't noticed it until you posted. I am meeting up with another ND owner tomorrow and will check out his car and get back to you.I am concerned that there may be a gap as the moulding is not down as far as it should be

Despite the protestations of Mr M I think that you have every right not to expect that on your car regardless of price.
Great things though aren't they, really enjoying mine!

If that 4.56 ratio is right are they were using an auto? A bit surprised but the gains are still relevant. Before I realised that I had spent a bit of time trying to correlate the speeds/revs to a manual and it wasn't working out.Is that some indication that the auto is stronger than the manual?
Really happy to be corrected here if I am totally up the creek on this.

Interested what the pre figures are for.. 101kw and 183Nm.. If thats pre turbo, then wondering a) what they did to the standard one, or b) is that std ND 2.0 outputs?

All dyno's will have some variation but I would think given the figures I got for my 1.5 ND on a Dyno Dynamics of just on 80RWKW that this is a 2.0 ltr.

It says 2L on the dyno so no issue there.
More just wondering, seeing as NC 2.0 were 90-91rwkw stock, whether the ND 2.0's 118fwkw is 100rwkw(meaning NDs are peppier than NCs) , or just a happy dyno, or whether it was modified from stock prior to fitting turbo.
