Can anyone with experience tell me if it is worth the odd $300 to change the standard NB suspension for the SE bilsteins?
I'm not after lowering too much but would like to lower a bit.
Primarily I am after a bit of a sturdier and stiffer ride with less body roll.
All responses are appreciated,
Thanks everyone.

Re: Std vs Se suspension
I came from an NB8A to my SE and I really like the stock suspension. So much so, I am very reluctant to touch it, even to just lower it slightly with some Kings or something.
However, it's a controversial subject and I'm very much in the minority from what I read around the place.

If you want less body roll you can just change the front swaybar. Probably a little cheaper

I quite like the way the SE handled out of the box. They mucked it up on the 8A & it took them until the SE to fix it.
Sure out of the box is pretty good when you compare it to other models....straight out of the box. Probably not comparable highly modified geometry handling steering feedback & so on.

Re: Std vs Se suspension
That's what I did, NB8A to SE shocks and springs, then to aftermarket lowered springs that I had.
For $2-300 it's a good first step into the suspension options, without all the adjustments to complicate your day.
I will probably refit the SE springs (maybe a single spring coil shorter), so I can feel the suspension load up for track work more easily.
I probably don't drive hard/well enough to work the firmer springs! Plus I'm skinny.
