I remember staying there one night in the caravan park as a kid in summer and it was stinking hot.

Not much fun.

Everything in the playground was made of metal.

The slide was so hot you could have easily seared a steak on it and you couldn't use the monkey bars, swings or carousel because even they burned your flesh.

Ahhh, those were the days! (having flashbacks of some of the caravan park slides I tried in summer wearing shorts and half way down wishing I hadn't done it because I was developing 3rd degree burns).
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

story 1
I wouldnt let the wife drive the car and we got into an argument bear woomera and I got king hit and laided out and an ambulance was called for assistance OR

story 2
I had just pulled up at a roadside rest stop to take a few photo of a salt lake. on my way bake to the car and following a walking track I tripped on a few strands of hidden fencing wire which landed me face first on the hard packed stone surface and the first thing to hit was my nose...CRUNCH!

well the blood was pissing out of me ever where but I didn't drop the camera :D meanwhile the wife came up and saw all the blood and packed it and rang 000 meanwhile a guy pulled up in a car and got out and saw me all the blood on the ground and got straight back in his car and took off

about 10 minutes later the ambulance arrived and checked me over for concussion and possible broken nose  anyway they wanted me into the ambulance for a 100 klm run to the nearest hospital to do a proper check over. I thought this will cost me.

I said I feel fine which I did but I looked not to crash hot and I said i'd check in at coober pedy which I did later that day. about 4 hour later at coober pedy the doctor told me all good and my nose was straighter than Michael jackson's

anyway it's still bruised and swollen but that's progress and I won't forget this trip

Ouch that looks nasty. Very lucky wasn't more serious injuries!

Looking at that landscape I reckon you found the only thing possible to trip over

Admit it...that fall was just part of the whole plan to look a little more like Charles Bronson, eh?

I'm following.

That looks nasty but looks like mostly bruising. Still must hurt like hell though!

I don't get why the bloke drove away. That's just plain unaustralian. Hope it heals fast.

I figure, if I'm not being abused or teased, everyone must be lapping up every last drop I post in my thread(s) . I've been experimenting with a Facebook page. When people 'like' they say nothing. When they don't like they write something cranky, and that's been the extent of the 'engagement'. I'm enjoying reading your adventures!

Sorry about your face! That's going to be a right nuisance in about 5 days!

There's no like button in here, so you might have to post a photo of a bloodied nose from time to time, and request proof of life (of your audience)
