NA8 Rear Panel

I posted a WTB, but it seems most of the 2nd hand ones are as brittle and cracked as the one I have. Has anyone bought a new one of these from anywhere?

I got one off ebay....came from brisssy. was in real good nick too.

The other place you can check is mx5spare parts in the UK. big$$$ to deliver to AU though. But New unpainted. expect $350-$400
I just checked Mania. cant see anything on their site currently

There are a few aftermarket ones about, I think that carbonmiata shop have both carbon fiber and fibreglass ones.

I know glass is never as good as the proper factory ones, but it's better than a broken one at least.

Mazda part no NA01-50-8PO. It doesn't show in Amayama's search results. The US Mazda dealers list it at 364USD.

Mine JDM panel is cracked near the light. And my son dropped a broom on it, smashing it up on the bottom edge...brittle piece of crap.

Perhaps you could ask for expressions of interest for a group buy. Perhaps i just did?

Group buy. Shipping is a real problem. As suggested they are fragile as ƒü¢k

Buy 10 from China somewhere. Get them shipped once I'm sure you will have 10 buyers in brissy. You don't want to have to ship them around. They need super careful packaging.

hey Cal about a month ago I was rear ended in my NA6 and took my car to Hume Smash Repair (forum sponsor). They accidentally ordered the wrong rear panel (na8 type) for my car, and had to re-order the NA6 one from Mazda JP. There's probably a good chance they still have the na8 panel so you might give them a call and see if they can send it up for you if you are really having trouble finding one.

Maybe, but your link is to NA6 panels. NA8s are different here. This is the link. Do you still stock them?

I ended up buying this one of Mick. Got it collected last week. Car is at the panel beaters as we speak. Thanks for the tip.
