One very quick MX5

Postby stuart1 » Sat Jun 18, 2016 3:46 pm

Nick Cancian was off to a very fast start at the recent state Prodsports round at SMSP.

How quick will he be at the next round at Wakefield Park where the big cars cannot stretch their legs?

Very impressive.

However, it seems a smallish field and other than the MX5s and an old RX7 where have all the "Production" sports cars gone ? Looks like another class sold out to the big money specialist vehicles, compared to fields from some years ago.

No wonder we need a MX5 cup for amateur racers to have go these days.

Some good racing at the front. But I have to agree with Peter - the class should probably be renamed "Old GT Race Car" class.

Not all of them. One third of the field were mx5s plus an rx7. So maybe also 'plus Old Mazdas'.
