so what is high speed? The last time I looked our legal limits are a miserable 110. Are Japanese cars unstable at that speed? Wherever you choose to read reports on the MX5 it always comes up with plaudits for its handling and fun. Recently i.e. the MX5 ND sparred with a variety of big guns - far more expensive and bursting their biceps with mega kilowatts but the little MX5 was not disgraced in the fun stakes and enjoyment of roads where it was possible to get some driving fun without getting booked at the same time. Personally I wonder if there is anything apart from an 86 / BRZ which comes close to an MX5 as a usable affordable sports car. Its not an idle boast that the MX-5 -any of them- are good handling fun sports cars but fair enough that is not what everyone is after in; a car.

The OP is comparing German vs Jap. Pretty simple to fix current feel/grip problems. Put wider tyres on like Germans do.

Tks - Googled & indeed looks like it.
Also remember Morlock mentioning chatting to Tony formerly of FulTech. Morlock mentioned getting a referral to Les @ Supaswift Performance 44 Clarice Rd, Box Hill South 9898 9908, but not sure if the referral came from Tony or if anyone subsequently tried Supaswift Performance.
