Hey all,
Will there be any of these meets coming up soon? I would like to connect with some of the Melbourne crew and chat about our cars
Cheers
Maki

Garage Cafe closed recently <http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=72089>, but there's Cars & Coffee <http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=70129> & possibly another meet on FB. If no one's already PM'd you, PM FFG as he'll most likely know what's going on where: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1476

Bro?
Man, am I feeling old.
(No offence meant, in fact, the eclectic mix of MX5 owners has always been high on my appeal list).

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

Re: The Weekly Vic MX-5 Meet-up!
Hi team, I have a few queries about Melbourne based MX5 meet-ups.
Over the last 18-24 months the meets have disappeared from being a forum based gig to a Facebook based gig.
If you are on Facebook, do a search for roadsterzoku.
Roadsterzoku used to be called Melbourne east MX5 meets ups on FB but the name changed to reflect those of us not in the east.
Some of the guys on there may appear brutal (hanging sh*t, meme standoffs etc) but they are a good bunch of young guys.
If you want a mature (read: older people) outlook I can recommend the MMCA (mazda car club of australia).
Contact Ben (meanmx on this forum) for more info as he is the President of MMCA.
And a few lads catch up every 2nd saturday of the month at Cars and Coffee at RTR in trugannina (Laverton/Hoppers Crossing area).
The next one is this saturday morning.
You can find them on FB too.
It is a shame that the events have dwindled off, I was a big fan of them when I started way back in 2005/2006 but a lot of the scene has changed
and our regular meeting place (garage cafe) stopped its dinners last week. It may have even shut up, I do not know.
But yeah, FB is where to find the mx5 minded cats now days.....
welcome to the fold and good luck

Hi FFG. Yes, the Garage has closed. Refer to thread END OF AN ERA just above weekly meet up.
