People's real names v forum names

My parents named me Lucas, one of my post-school friends started calling me "Luke" which I took issue to (Lucas and Luke are two entirely separate names, they're not interchangeable, go away, *gnashing teeth*) So he said "OK, Cus it is then" - "you know, luke-cus, it's just the other half of your name" .. and it stuck.

Now I get called Cus, Mr Cus, Cussy, Cusman, Cus-tard (like retard), Cusbear... If it starts with "Cus" I'll probably answer to it!

I used to go by pppZero on the internet, but then facebook came along and everyone started using "real names" so I was Pharqu Khunts for 5-ish years, until someone finally reported me. (I used to have very strong views about online privacy, and protecting oneself from data-mining.... Then I decided to buy a convertible and give no f*cks instead.)

Simon. Always hated it as growing up in the 80s, all the weird movie characters were named that.
My family call me "S", which is short for "Big S".
Some call me "pickles" because I once said that accidentally instead of "pixel".
My mother once did the same: "Simon, I have a great new camera; it's 10 mega pickles".

Real name to most of my friends and family is Billy.

The BlackLeaf pseudonym came from my early D&D (table top, not computer) days... was my first character, a Dwarven Warrior, played to L7. Actually, was my second character but I refuse to acknowledge the first character out of sheer embarrassment - an Elven Illusionist who rolled 1hp on a 1d4, and who would routinely be rendered unconscious by tripping over tree roots, or from a hearty back slap from one of his party. When playing multi-player shooters, my mates affectionately call me BitchLeaf.

My name is Brad. My forum name is the brand of mountain bike I used to ride, and was my handle on the Rotorburn forums. I have always loved cars, and spent way too much money on them when I was young, but when a family came along, I needed to find something cheaper that would still let me:
- get the adrenaline going,
- give me the opportunity to do custom "wrenching" work, and
- spend time with the boys.

Mountain biking ended up fitting the bill nicely. From 9 to 18yrs the boys and I hit the bush trails on weekends, spending heaps of time destroying our bikes and ourselves, and then fixing everything up during the week. There is always a new shiny cnc'd alloy part that you need to upgrade to, and talk about for hours, and MTB also provided a great excuse for an epic family holiday to Queenstown to ride the NZ downhill trails. Here is the Niner:

It was a real weapon in 2010 (of course now superceded by lighter bikes with more travel). Back then, 160mm travel 29" wheel mountain bikes were rare, but now they are everywhere. I had to mod the hell out of this thing to get it where I wanted it - offset angle headsets, custom 2-speed internal crank, modified Fox forks. The bike tallied up the following:
2 X broken helmets
1 X die-punch radial fracture of the wrist & reconstruction surgery
1 X torn rotator cuff & surgery
Multiple hematoma.

Now that the boys are older and have their own cars, I have been given the go ahead from the "Minister for War and Finance" to switch back to cars, and so last year the oldest Son and I acquired this:
