Do brakes ducts cause an issue only cooling one side of the rotor or is it a non issue?

From what I have read yes they can, if they are sending the air to the wrong spot . They should be sending air to the center of the rotor for the air to get flung out of the vanes in the rotor. The stock brake shield has that scoop to do just that, and my set up basically directs more air to that scoop.

Finally got the alignment sorted after finding out I needed eccentric bushes for the front lower control arms. Though I do need new alignment bolts and eccentric washers because the original ones were problematic throughout the alignment.

Its now sitting at

Front:
-2.4 deg camber
4.4 deg caster
0.0 toe

Rear:
-1.9 deg camber
0.0 toe

Good Stuff...!

It was quite interesting reading your thread as my car is also a NA8C and looks like we`ve got similar interests in the way things are/getting set-up. :)

Quick update
Put in a new instrument cluster surround in and added some chrome vent rings. I think they add a bit of character to the car. The instrument cluster was a real PITA to get in! I found out the hard way that the gauge cluster is all glued together on NA’s – I would have got a full kit with gauge faces and all if I knew it was so hard – or not done it at all tbh. But its in now and I like the look.

It got a full paint restore (clay-cut-polish-wax) which was well overdue.

Some cheap fun at happy snaps followed and it was looking schmick

Back to track stuff
I made it to the QR midweek sprints a few weeks ago, but unfortunately disaster struck for one competitor. The day was ended early – but rescheduled for this Wednesday.
I was half a second slower than last time (clubman circuit) but thanks to racechrono I have some things I can work on for next time.
I am tossing up on whether I should replace the old (5-6yrs old) and nearly bald Kumho KU36’s that I am using at the moment with some Yokohama AD08R’s which are on sale for the 4th tyre free at Bob Jane at the moment. I could probably get a few more track days out of the KU36’s but I wouldn’t want to get pulled over with them on the drive to the track...
