Does anyone know how much it would cost to get arches put on? Paint and flushing etc..

A good ballpark figure would be nice

Maybe if you put a location in your profile, someone could suggest a place to go?

Maybe people think that if you are too lazy to pick up the phone/drop by a panelbeater, they can't be bothered to do your legwork for you?

Here's a suggestion: Go get a quote/estimate from the nearest/most convenient panel beater you can find. Post the results here.

I have been quoted $100-$150 for rolling the arch lips. $500 if the paint cracks and they need to be re-sprayed.

I know a panel beater that that does cash jobs so you can get it for less.

I'm assuming OP is referring to flares, more so than rolled guards.

Price is going to depend on the style you go for. A full aftermarket guard replacement like Autokonexion used to sell will be easier to install for the DIY'er, but then you have to paint it. Whereas bolt on flares that require actual cutting would require more time. If that's a shop that's doing the work for you, time costs.

Also depends on the standard you want the work to.

The proper way is to mark where the flares fit, cut out the inside guards to suit the flare shape, and then have some fill panels made to weld into the gaps left by the cutting.
Then the lot is prepared and painted, and the inside guards then painted with body deadener (or paint, or whatever you prefer)

That will come out well, and last for ages, but cost because of the labour.

The quicker "bolt'em on and hack the guts out" method will be a lot cheaper, but you'll probably end up with rust issues inside the guard eventually
