Wondering whether I can make this. Been back through the first few pages to find some info but couldn't see it.
Do you still meet at the Mount Cootha carpark?
What time you kick off?
How long does the run usually take?

I know I don't really need to say this, but...
Just be mindful when arriving and leaving and especially if you're thinking of turning up early and going for 'a quick lap'.
Local residents demanding more Police presence and stronger actions were front page of the local free paper again last week.

A bit embarrassed to say this, but as a Brisbane resident for over 40 years and a car lover, I've only ever dríven over Mt Glorious once, so I'd be taking it easy anyway

Sorry, my comment above was specifically about a report regarding the Planetarium car park and the loop around Mt Cootha. Re-reading it I can see it wasn't clear.
Many comments in this and the "First Friday" thread confirming that you can have plenty of fun within the speed limits on the corners of Nebo and Glorious themselves.

Yep, there's a time and a place for driving fast in cars. Not to say I don't enjoy the occasional squirt on the road, but I'll head to the track if I need my fix of high speed stuff.

The road encircling Mt Cootha is no fun as there's no real twisties. We've only done a few runs there over the 9 or so years.

I'll be able to start doing these runs again soon, once I have a way to get the car to the track if/when it gets majorly defected.

Can't make it, the wife has other ideas. Will look to head out for a run Sunday somewhere.
