under the soft top

There is always plenty of discussion what people do to maintain their soft top on the outside but does anyone do anything in particular to the underside of it? Do they clean it? Apply any water resistant spray?

I use black vinyl spray to keep the colour - always down so fades.

Before my connection gets dropped again. You would not use vinyl spray of the underside because the substrate is not vinyl i.e. its fabric / cloth.

The idea of water resistant spray sounds ok and perhaps a gentle wash with soap and water?

It's worked for years for me - also on faded sun visor felt and carpets!

Would Scotchguard work?
