MX-5's out again tomorrow?

If so I'll make the trip up to watch.

Well done today Tim! Great watching your battle with Tony Bonanno in the 'Targa Racing' NC down thru the bus stop - Keith and I had the shade of the 'Bus Stop Function Centre'! That's where you see attitude down thru where the footbridge used to be - unfortunate about the Ginetta yesterday :(

Admission tomorrow is $30 for the 'general public'

Was great to see a full field of MX5s. Good job by everyone on track, the faster guys were cautious when they came across slower traffic, and the slower guys held their line and enjoyed some great battles amongst each other.

...well this is what I captured, and honestly I didn't really expect someone to be pushing into that space given I followed the same line as the chap in front and didn't think there was room to do that, but hey, that's racing for ya. Lucky the damage was really minor and nothing to be worried about at all :?

Next time I won't be leaving any hint of a gap....

I can see why he went for it, looked like you were pretty far off hitting the apex. Actually looks like, had David ridden the kerb a bit, you both would've gotten through unscathed. The late apex line is the quickest way in my opinion, but it leaves the door open for chasing cars to get up the inside if you're running door to door.

Pause it at 2 sec... looks to me I was hitting the apex early, which would mean no gap and going past me driver side would have been a better option. Also, when he recovers in front of me, he hugs the outside line !?? which considering I nudged him left a bit, made me think he might of fallen onto the grass if I wasn't there !!

All good and it is all a learning opportunity in every way.
