Reminder, you need to use secure https links, not unsecured http links for embedding to work on this forum. If it doesn't have the s you can just add it in and the embedding will work.

Here's a couple from my outing with the HSCCQ at a combined Motorkhana and Khanacross:

A motorkhana run complete with windscreen wiper action - it's harder to get things sliding and keep them sliding on A050's!

And one from the Khanacross:

Not in the mx5, but I took my wife's auto 86 to a lotus club event on the dtc behind lakeside. Stock power, factory tyres, factory alignment. Wants to push more than anything, but can be made to slide with enough throttle. Auto is slow to transfer power so it pushes before it steps out but it's manageable. Good fun.

Jamie

If you lost a '127' number at Lakeside it's in the infield near the gate as you enter the main straight - looks OK, I left it there but will pick up if still there June 6

Thanks Roger

I have stayed with my first number 127 allocated at my first MX5 club track day, many thanks to you on this forum!

it was defiantly the poor quality masking and not the corner speed that turned 127 into a sail,

Ill need to get some magnetic vinyl for future

cheers

Was asked to do this to show the difference in diffs. Need to find some video when it was a 1.6 with an open (if it exists). Was a screen capture of video so apologies for the quality.

Green - AD08's, 4.3 2 way diff, BC ER's, 1.9 ltrs, E85, 1027 kg, V4 splitter (05/2016)
Blue - FZ201's, 4.1 torsen, Pedders EXA's, 1.9 ltrs, E85, 1,027 kg, V4 splitter (02/2016)
Red - R888's, 4.1 torsen, BC ER's, 1.9ltrs, 1,080 kg, V1 splitter (28/11/2013). This was the first run of the new engine so not pushed too hard.

The green video shows that power was put down a lot earlier than the other 2 runs. Whilst the change from the 4.1 to the 4.3 would explain some of the acceleration difference, it is mainly the 2 way diff that allows the power to be put to the ground. The red/blue was with a torsen and you can see the lift off (blue) coming out of the dipper, this was due to inside wheel unloading.

The Red video was when the car had a run in tune as well as over 50kg heavier. Whilst this may explain some of the improvement, I think seat time has had a lot to do with it as well.

New PB, 62.8:

And also a quick clip from the first session, when a skyline got loose through Hungry and didn't quite catch it:

Must be the weather for PB's at Lakeside.
Natsoft official 60.7 x 2.
Changes made recently include custom wing mounts, custom CF boot, and cleaned up the front of the splitter and air dam.
