No issue at all with any of the lead acid batteries in there before or after.
Possibly something to do with the NA alternator regulated voltage as opposed to the NB ECU regulated one? and whatever the NC uses (presumably ECU regulated?)

The challenge in my car for a lead acid battery is the cornering forces. The acid doesn't want to stay in the battery.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Possibly just a bad battery?
I have had a PC680 in my NA6 for 3.5 years now, still charges fine, starts fine even with high compression.
even if its left for 3 weeks starts first time.

Thes specs on the Deka and Braille seem different, even if they are from the same factory (?). Braille has closer to factory CCA. In reality I think both will do the job just fine.
