Just for my limited opinion, what is the 0-100 time now?
I know it's not the best test but would give me something to compare it to.

I thought friends golf r was quick at 5 secs flat to 100 kph.

Then another friend bought 2016 merc a45, 0-100 4.2 secs. That thing absolutely hammers.

Only 0-100, it would be womped 50-150 or higher by an MX5 turbo with a stock engine.

For reference, it looks like the A45 with just a tune does a 12.28 and has a trap speed of 112mph (180km)


If someone has the trap speed for a stock block turbo MX5 it'd be interesting to compare.

I don't wish to hijack Ron's thread, but I can offer some sort of comparison.

Power wise my SE is reasonably standard. The only changes of note are an AEM intake, an axle back exhaust with hot dog (rest of exhaust is standard) and an Adaptronic.

I had a before and after dyno run done when the Adaptronic was installed and it only picked up around 10 RWKW (still plenty of room to improve the tune I guess). What the Adaptronic did however was dramatically improve the driveability. It now has 146 RWKW.

At the Cootamundra airport as part of the Nulon Nationals in 2014, my best time was 13.7 sec @108.9 mph over the quarter. Not sure whether that's good or bad.

Ok before and after figures. Disappointed with the dyno figures but not with the butt dyno.

To me car is considerably quicker

Other change in car went up from 205 to 215 size tyres.
