Hi everyone.
Not long ago a bought a nitro dann turbo manifold (well it was sold to juffa as a dann manifold anyway).
Today I picked up a gt2554r, and I can't get them to fit together.
It's not that the flanges are wrong, there's half a mm in it, I think one of the manifold studs is very slightly out of plumb.
What's the best course of action here? Is it kosher to file out your turbos exhaust flange, assuming you can find something hard enough to file such a beast?
Thanks.

Re: Help: turbo and manifold fitment
The flange should have been CNC drilled and should be fine although if someone since has chased the threads with a tap they may have tapped it at a slight angle, absolutely drill the 4 holes bigger, it usually drills really nicely and easily.

Thanks Dann, exactly the person I need advice from.
Yep, looks like someone has tapped one of the studs very slightly out. Oh well.
Seems like drilling the exhaust housing is the way to go, don't know why I questioned it in hindsight; people have to drill it out to run 10mm studs anyway.

Re: Help: turbo and manifold fitment
Hey Dann,
Got the manifold machined because it had warped a bit, the guy said it was one of the best made manifolds he had seen. He said usually they're made out of cheap junk and are a pain to put straight, and he actually charged me less than the quote because it was so easy to work on.
