still have overheating problems

Postby rossburns » Sat Feb 20, 2016 2:30 pm

When the weather is cold the temp gauge barely gets off cold, on hot days on a steep climb or cruising at 100 kph, it wants to boil, have changed thermostat and flushed system, radiator looks fine, hoses ok and new coolant. Don't know what to do next  :NA6:

Is it actually over heating, or is the gauge just saying it is? The dummy gauge fitted could be faulty

Radiator looks fine.
Maybe the rad is not fine. I'd take it to a rad shop to do a pressure test and have a look.
