So, the time has come to start gathering parts and finding reputable people to do a NA8 turbo setup (Super conservative <10 PSI)
This post is specifically aimed at the Sydney region and its surroundings (sorry not bothered to travel interstate).
I have sourced a garret 2554 turbo ......and thats about it :/
Now we need everything else, obviously lets start with the big pieces of the puzzle.
-Anyone know any good places or even anyone in general supplying a Manifold and dump pipe (or who can fabricate one)
-From research I cannot decide on an ECU, any recommendations (looking for something very common so tuners will not experience issues, leaning towards adaptronic)
- Where to source a decent FMIC kit (Since running very small boost somthing on the smaller side)
- Any reputable shops within driving distance to actually install all the messy bits and tune (I'm not drilling into anything :0)
-Engineers who will make it all legal
Please Feel free to throw some thoughts , opinions or knowledge on the post (may even come in handy for Sydney siders in future! )
Thanks All!

Contact NitroDann. Give him your car and few weeks and he will give you back a car that you will love driving. Seriously, you will want to drive it 24 hours a day.
Allow about 8 grand to do properly. I know its a lot of money but well worth it and if you try to do yourself it will cost you more, take twice as long and if you get pulled over the cops will give you a canary on the spot. If you crash into a BMW forget about claiming on your insurance, they will laugh at you.
Richard.

Danns the man, one day I will make the journey east and get his full setup. Might also pick up a Lightyear fast back, they are sure pretty!

Re: Turbo the Beginning, Gathering of Parts
Hi,
I usually ask for a month depending on what the person wants, usually my builds are VERY extensive and the engineering process involves gathering paperwork and having inspections and testing performed by third parties who I am forced to wait for, however if it wasnt an engineered build it and you were willing to pay a reasonable sized deposit a month in advance I could prepare everything ahead of time, and do your install and setup and tune within the week.
