Just had the opportunity to drive one for an hour in Germany on some suburban roads and it was a great drive.

But why the 21 at all ? You also ignored my point that Porsche put a much bigger brake package under the same 20 on the Turbo S. If you think they couldn't have put the 380mm package under a 19, you need to buy a tape measure.
If you want a 20->19 example, look at the Cayman S vs GTS. Same brakes, 19 on the S and 20 on the GTS. Dramatic drop on sidewall on the front, surely GTS owners would prefer the 19's ?
