1994 Laguna Blue Clubman MX5 - Bluebean
I bought this 1994 Laguna Blue Clubman last year as a wedding anniversary gift to my wife
But she is not driving so I be the driver for her
The car has no mod at all.
2 month later I went to visit Nitro Dann, and leave the car to him, because I was going to move to next street and don't have parking space until I moved.
Also Dann can fix my car while I was busy.
And yesterday I got the car back looks the same, apart from the engine, and the exhaust.
It doesn't feel like the same car at all, but I like it
The car is now making 258hp and 300nm torque at wheel, and engineered in NSW.
just before I go I asked Dann to make me a new intake pipe, which run closer to the water bottle, and COP kit is fitted.
I will need to make a new air box later on.
so far the work had been done:
Tubular high mount steampipe turbo manifold, Ceramic coated
GT2560R
3” separated gases stainless downpipe
3” stainless exhaust, inc EURO4 cat converter
FMIC kit with BOV return
Braided oil and water line
Turbosmart BOV
Walbro 255 fuel pump
MS2PnP2 ECU
ID1000 injectors
Inconel/Stage8 stud
42mm alloy radiator
Coolant reroute kit
Exedy organic HD clutch kit
Mazdaspeed engine mount
Thank you Dann
I used to enjoy working with car, even I got very limited mechanic skill,
back to the day when I got my 180SX and AE86, but thats like 15 years ago.
then I got busy and sold everything, concentrated at work and went oversea.
since I got the car back, I decided to have a build thread for my car, I call it Bluebean

very nice.
Dann is the man.
it makes me feel like selling the NB and doing the same.
I prefer the older MX5

Saw this on danns Facebook page, very impressive!
I wish he was down here in VIC, I've contemplated more than once doing a trip up.

so that' s just a tad under 200 killer wasps......couldn't you just get Dann to find that extra wasp in his front yard with the roses?

The current setup can make 300whp, if I got forged conrods.
Actually I ask Dann to turn down the power from 270, the 20years old gearbox is had enough, making noise already.

try out one of the wheel and see if any scrape, it seems no problem, 15x8 +25, with 225/45

mind you.....260 or 300....kind of irrelevant innit? I would freak out from going to that from standard either way.
