Gents,

does anyone know the manufacturer of this rear spoiler, if so - best place to obtain one?

I'll name him Perry.

Looks like the OEM NB8B one. No idea where to get one now, Moss and MX5 parts don't seem to have them.
Not sure they ever came here, the Americans received the cars covered in plastic bits and pieces.

Hi Jas,

There is an EBay seller from the US that sells OEM ones like this. I bought one and some other body parts parts off him a while back and they were good to deal with. Probably won't have your colour but no issues if you are prepared to paint. If you know someone else who wants one you save some postage packing them together. Past this into you browser.

OEM NB8A one. (might have been offered with the 8B as well?)

They were available in Australia, Japan, and the USA.
They don't seem to have been a particularly popular option here, but the USA seems to have a lot moreof them.

This is the only pic I have at the moment so not really helpful. The bootlid if off the car at the moment. Item cam with instructions and a new torsion spring so the boot remains open after fitting the spolier.

the price of the OEM product looks extremely low to me and if its a genuine product it looks like a good buy even with freight added.

Looks good man.

Did you use bolts to fasten it? I'm a bit hesitant about drilling holes in the boot.

I did use the bolts but you may be able to use something else if you don't want to drill.
