Apegrip's NA6
Alright - I've never done one of these before and I have not documented much - Picture wise - but here it goes.
Purchased bone stock off an old couple with 168k KM on the clock - I thought it'd be a great start to work from and build exactly what I want.
Here is the car the day I purchased it:
My goal was to learn on the car and do as much work on it as I possibly could myself and have something to show for it - on the road and track. I previously had a 300zx that I worked on. Everyone knows that's a pain to work on so coming to this car was a god-send.
First thing's first - Maintenance
What I've done:
Coolant flush and replacement
All coolant hoses
Water pump
Timing Belt
Engine Oil
Oil filter
Spark plugs
Spark plug leads
Checked Battery
New tires (Couldn't fit them myself obviously )
Replaced headlights
What I need to do:
Fuel filter
Check Diff/Trans oil
Remove all aircon related things
Here's a few photos:
Now that I got that out the way - I have started with my modifications
Most of this stuff is second hand and bought off members right here!
What I've done so far:
Slotted front rotors
GV style front lip
Rims
MCA blue suspension with a 9/7 spring rates
aftermarket TSI's
Alpine Type R speakers (2 way)
Some sony headunit
New meter hood
What I plan to do:
Alignment (This week hopefully !)
Full exhaust replacement (Fujitsubo cat back on Thursday - Don't know when I'll do the rest)
Sparco Sprint V seats
Roll bar
Bracing
Pod filter
Centre console delete
Short shift kit
Various gauges
Here's some photos:
That's where I'm at right now. I'm going to document a lot more in the future and post it here.
Anyway - Thanks for reading

Woo thanks for the reply! Didn't think anyone would even read my post.
Not only did I manage to get one, but I got it for only $350. In great condition too.
I'm hopefully getting fujitsubo headers Wednesday too

Re: Apegrip's NA6
Alright, here's an update!
New additions:
Spacro Sprint Junior
Buddy Club P1 wheels
Short shifter installed
Proper alignment
Coming in the mail:
Side skirt diffusers
Exterior neon kit (Hate all you want ;))
Gave it a wax. Came up looking great!
Gave these a half assed polish. Came up looking decent.
New wheels, was so excited to get them fitted.
And finally, how the little beast sits now! Cannot wait for the side skirt diffuses (Mania don't re-open 'till the 18th ) and neon kit.

Yes!
What a difference the buddyclubs make. Are the Re003's on the P1's?
Looks really really nice, and sounds like it's getting along really well now.

Re: Apegrip's NA6
What tire specs did you fit on the wheels? I have 15x8 wheels on order and looking at getting 225/50 or 45/r15.
Car looks great

Awesome to see my old headers actually get used! First in Australia to fit them I think. I too started to polish one and gave up. Car looks great.

The wheels are 15x8 +32 and I'm using 205/55R15. They fit pretty nice.
Thank you

Re: Apegrip's NA6
Makes for a good photo, for sure.
Are neons still 'neon'?
Or have they moved on to leds?
My dad has mountains of led rope light (he's an avid christamas lights guy) I wonder if I could nick some to temporarily install for a photo or two.

These ones are LED, I think they still sell actual neons though.
