Sweet. All good things take time ;)

What year is your rover mini Mayfair? Nice colour too. I have a 63 morris mini 850 that I'm building as a cooper s rep.
Used a 1275 and front subframe from a rover :)
NA6 turbo - 140kw atw - not the most powerful but so much fun :D

88. We believe it has a genuine 100k on it as it was imported in 06 with 55 from Japan in showroom condition. It'd my wife's love and is her daily drive to school. It's a carby 998 a+, the aircon comes out at 2.5°c! I've already upgraded the tyres to 165 from the original 145's hahaha. Completely original Mayfair edition.

Here's a few pics

Put on a set of Minilites please! I doubt a set of NA daisies would be the right PCD?

It's being kept original. The wheel nuts go through the hub caps!

Ok back on track. Spent a few hours this arvo getting it to a stage where it can be rolled back so I can work on yet another car...

Installed reconditioned cvs into hubs with new bearings, installed the coilovers. Installed the rear nb brakes I've had for ages to match the fronts I did ages ago. I must say that distribution block at the rear was horrible to connect to.

Got 4 rims bolted up and put it on the ground for the first time in over 7 months! Everything from the engine to the wheels is new/new to the car aside from the tailshaft!

It appears I need shorter sway bar links. Regardless here's some pics.

Request for more pics of wheel fitment. Maybe an angle somewhere between the last two forward photos?
perhaps a shot showing how obvious the width increase is from the rear, rad wheel and tyre combo mate, you will have to comment on scrub clearance once mobile. Just make sure another white mazda doesn't beat it out of the shed!
All the best for the new year, Dan.

Only one I have currently. If the police were having a bad day they might write a defect but with 2+ degrees camber it'll sit well in the top so it's not hugely noticeable. Identical to my last set at 15x8 +25. I'm super happy how they came out and so far the coating is doing its job at preventing me chipping the paint when I dropped a nut while fitting one.

So. We bought a house a few weeks ago. Got the keys this week and have been busy packing. So no more progress unfortunately.

But tonight we got it up the driveway, pushed onto a trailer (3 people pushing would make life so much easier!) And took it to its new home.

Also got some innovate guages from Emily and they look good in the roadster pods.

Also secured a more modified head with 270° kelford cams and uprated springs. So should be an interesting development.

Still lots of work to be done but we are getting there slowly. Wondering how long it'll be until it's declared a track only car...

Boxed up these parts to send to Danny so he can finish my kit.
Some pics.

Got some more bits from Magpie

Image

And sorted out my stuff. Installed an aircon and insulation under the roof sheets. Still no progress to actual car...

Image

Waiting for this to show up to get it checked out at the machine shop prior to installation.

That's about it unfortunately. Hoping to make a big start again and get this put together asap.

Hah. I don't plan on one. I'm used to working in the gravel, while raining on a Sunday night before I need the car for work at 5am the next day
