So the other day I started to notice that sometimes when I press the clutch down it makes a click as if it's slipping or clicking on something.. It only happens around once in every 5 times..
All of the arms on my gauges excluding my rev counter/fuel gauge seem to wobble/jiggle slightly
This afternoon i started my car and noticed it was idling at around 750-800rpm instead of its usual 1100 area, The idle was so quiet it sounded like the car was about to stall..
While driving, in fourth gear at 2000-2500 rpm I get this weird swooshing noise that sounds like a dodgy exhaust but only in fourth gear..
My engine temperature is always at the same temperature after the car warms up.. No matter how soft or hard I drive the car, the engine temperature gauge always sits in the EXACT same spot once it has reached and has never gone over or dropped back down until the car is off..
Has anyone else noticed these things before? Not sure if they're bad news or not, cheers [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Re: Are these things normal?
I had a noise in the clutch pedal if my foot happened to slip off it in the last bit of travel, caused by it hitting the clutch switch mounting plate. Fixed by adding small O rings to the switch shaft.
All my gauge arms are steady EXCEPT the tacho!
My engine (B6) used to idle all over the place until I cleaned out the idle speed control valve under the throttle body.
My temp gauge behaves the same as yours.

Probably clutch bearing, they sometimes make noise. Not really an issue, ignore until the clutch start slipping or the bearing starts screeching

Not sure, as long as they're working i'd not be too concerned

an 1100rpm idle is not normal, normal idle is 800-900ish. Bear in mind when the engine is cold the car idles higher while warming up, it should slowly drop down to the normal 800ish over the next 10mins or so. If it stays at 1100 all the time i'd be looking for a vacuum leak, or a dodgy sensor

Not sure, is it 4th gear cruising at speed? low speed with high load? coasting?

100% normal, the gauges are designed with quite a bit of damping to avoid the needle moving around all the time.
Also, contrary to what many seem to think, the MX5 cooling system is more than up to the task of keeping the coolant at normal temp in pretty much any weather and driving as long as it's all in good order.
