Recommendations for Air Con regas in Western Sydney?

Hi All,

Apologies if this isn't the right place for this topic, but I couldn't find any corresponding category that was clear.

Can anyone recommend a good place to get my air con re-gassed and leak checked in Western Sydney - Blacktown/Parramatta area?

There's a lot of places in Blacktown, but none with any good reviews. Was hoping to bump into someone whose had a good experience here who can point me to a good specialist

I friends/family use the place on Northrocks Rd across from Bunnings seem to be honest and reassembly priced

Find one who uses Hychill.

Best gas for a/c due to 1/3 charge weight, lower pressure and larger molecule so less likelihood of leaks and more efficient by weight.

Burson should be able to refer you to a number of their Hychill clients in your area.

I get mine done at Carbon car system.
They are at blacktown too.

I actually called up Carbon, but they said they don't do air-cons anymore and referred me to another business...
Maybe they just didn't like me? Or didn't want any new clients?

Got in touch with the PVS guy across from bunnings (actually dropped by after picking up an urgent part from Repco), and he seemed to know a few failure modes for the mx5 (not sure which type). Was gonna end up going with him, but this Hychill thing sounds interesting... might do a bit more research.

Meanwhile - I'm still open to more recommendations.

Bumping this thread.

Summer is almost over but I just couldn't take it after getting cooked in the 41 degree heat.

Anyone know an honest place out near inner/greater west Sydney who does hychill and leak tests?

I am not sure what gas they use but I used Tibby Rose Electrical in Top Ryde to regas and check for leaks on my MX.
Have used them for a few things and they are always fair.
