I know that chassis will go 255 kph :P

I know it's childish but I do always enjoy seeing a speedo go past the maximum speed on the dial.

PI VMAX

It was sketchy :shock: the OEM aero probably cost me 10-15 kph of Entry Speed on the main straight was easy to wash out.

Was nudging about 8000 - 8200 RPM in 6th gear with 4.1 diff, still a few revs to go but would get pretty interested in the brake pedal.

The NB8B Turbo race cars go 245+ kph easy Rev Limited but with Bigger 17 inch wheels and likely a 3.9 or lower diff.

Interesting. I've got a 3.6 t2 with the 6 speed and probably a 7500 rev limit (sob lifters)... I would've thought over 220 it'd be very floaty.

Had the privilege of being taken for a spin around the block.

The colour of adrenaline is definitely brown!

But seriously, I'm still amazed at how well sorted the car is overall.

Was soo pumped up thinking about the drive that I couldn't get to sleep.

Put simply, I don't have the vocabulary to describe how good this car is. It is that good!!!
NA6 turbo - 140kw atw - not the most powerful but so much fun :D

My car gets to around 225 - 230 on the main straigh at EC and to me the car does not really feel floaty and that is without any aero. It would probably pull 250 on a longer straight.

Still has the nearly the same tune as before the rebuild but a little less boost so needs a little fine tuning as has a new throttle body that is not ported like the old one and 1mm bigger pistons but seems to run and drive the same as before.
Dave installed the new NPC cushion button clutch today as the Exedy sports tuff lasted about 1200kms :D :D

Just need to instal the Mishimoto Baffled Universal Oil Catch Can and I think it might be finished……….Finally.

Its under 300, probably close to 250ft lb. I did the math, but theres fudge room for diff ratio.

Its bloody plenty though.

The realistic numbers guy calibrated his dyno for your car, the other one just read wheel torque, could have done a run in 1st and made 2500 nm!

I want I want...

Richard let me drive it before the rebuild. Being confined to suburban roads and 60kph I restrained myself but it was still possible to feel how responsive and powerful it was. I thought my SE with the Mania stage ii had some grunt but nothing like his.

Last week I drove an Exige v6 which might have a fight on its hands if it came up against Richard's animal.
