After opinions.

Would car look better with wheels painted to match colour of car, or does chrome look better.

Now looks really good. Black on black is stealthy, but I like the contrast.
Maybe Bronze if you would consider?

Even better: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/results.jsp?autoMake=Mazda&autoModel=MX-5+Miata&autoYear=2006&autoModClar=Base+Model&package=false#visualizer

All IMO since you either LOVE or HATE black rims:
* black rims look crap, they just disappear into the blackness, as the above site will show (black rims tend to "drab out" cars in other colours)
* bronze looks classy on a black car
* gold is a bit more "loud & proud"
* gunmetal grey or charcoal looks OK on black

Black on black can definitely work! ... just search out FFG's SE on here! But he has set his car up beautifully ...

I reckon RPF1's look best in bronze, here they are on Danny's car:

I did black on black on my other car and liked it for a while but then started to feel like it was a bit uninspired.

Sorry - fastfreddygassit

Hope he doesn't mind me using one of his photos that was taken last year while I was enjoying the day driving his car ...

The all black on his car looks even better in the flesh

I "see" your FFG SE with black rims and raise you an Okibi SE with bronze rims:

(would look even better with matching bronze Mazda logos on the bonnet and boot)
