Wife has NC MK II with Recaro seats.
Son has NC MK I with leather seats.
They would like to swap the seats.
Anybody done this?
Easy? Hard? Any traps?

Check if they have the same airbags, if they do just pull them out and see if they fit.
Make sure you disconnect the wiring under the seat before you pull it out.
Pulling a seat out in an na or nb takes 15 seconds, I'm assuming that the NC is broadly the same.

Yep they will bolt straight up.
Just take the usual precautions before unplugging the airbag from each seat though.
Damn I what I would do to get my hands on some recaros.

Thanks Regie.
I have done a quick search & the only precaution I can find is to disconnect the battery.
Anything else I should be doing?

disconnect the battery and turn the headlights on and pump the brake pedal a few times. Just to make sure the residual power has gone from the electrical system.
thats about it

You have to swap the complete seat, you cannot seperate the height adjustable part off the NC2 seats.
