My car was not touched on Dodgy Day, it was looked at and sat in by others. The consensus was that the Jetstream headlights look like they belong.

1. New splitter that extends 50mm beyond the front.
2. Fit 10 kg front springs and OEM front sway bar (and corner weight).
3. Fit Winmax 6.5's to the front.
4. Replace the current headlight setup.
5. Alignment.
6. Pre track service/inspection.
7. Relocate coolant overflow (issue found after item 4).
8. ITB duct utilising the Jetstream headlights (now possible because of item 4). PLAN Change GT Auto have made another suggestion where to place the duct. This will be tested at the track soon

Red - to be done
Green - done
Orange - in progress
Blue - Not happening before WTAC

Since all the major jobs were completed, spent some time on some other small jobs:

1. Fix the remaining 2 brackets on the splitter (not really needed but it looks nice).

2. Tidy up the glove box

3. Test out the aftermarket bonnet support :)

4. Part of the CAM's requirements for WTAC is coverings over the headlights. Down the newsagent for some clear contact.

Cut to shape

Car is now loaded on the trailer and parked in the garage. Packing up the rest of the 'stuff' tomorrow night then off to WTAC early Tuesday morning!

Been a hectic preparation now looking forward to just driving it at WTAC.

Catching up with friends tomorrow then Eastern Creek on Thursday for practice.

Sunday forecast looks a little suspect so hopefully it is fine.

Could Sunday see a change of the WTAC guard and 2WD regain supremacy over 4WD(only just missed out last year)?

Good luck in your class Magpie..

What a disorganized practice day! Started about 45 mins late and it was rare to get a full 20 mins due to breakdowns and oil on the track etc. total of 5 sessions and 2 of these were cut short :( Value for money NO.

Used over 70 ltrs of fuel. Not setting the world on fire but managed a 1:57 so happy with 3 secs faster than my last visit. Lots more in the car, driver needs more skill. Brake balance was very good, tyres had to be adjusted to the correct pressure after each run. Car was tail happy when tyres got too hot.

One of the display people was reminiscing with me about his 1.6 ltr blue MX5 NA6. Also a few people suprissed that the a natural aspirated car under 2ltrs was running. However those Sam people appreciated the effort that goes into a NA build.

Danny's NC was missed with a few people asking about where it was.

Competition day tomorrow, I'm stuffed!

WTAC 2015 what an emotional rollercoaster...

Practice went well, changed a CAS sensor after 4 sessions and it began to fail late in first session of official competition. I should have swapped it straight out but got walking around looking and heard the 5 min call so raced back to the car and took it out. It only got a few laps before it was again un-driveable. Swapped the CAS out for the third session, but after hitting some wreckage on the track the car started playing up again and eventually shut down and would not restart :( Watched the rest of the race on the corner before the main straight. After I was towed back to the carport, surprise surprise the car restarted :(

Best of all I'm not LAST!

Hopefully day 2 will not be an emotional rollercoaster and the car allows me to turn some good lap times. It has great corner speed and is capable of more!

Thanks to all the people who said hi, plus the comments about seeing a very neat engine bay and also being naturally aspirated were more than welcome. A magazine wants to do an article on it tomorrow due to the fact it is Naturally Aspirated, chuffed.
