What sort of work do you need done?
Repair existing stuff? weld in a muffler? Custom make a system?
For repairs, and/or welding in of mufflers/cats/stuff i've used Waverley Exhaust, quick turnaround time, cheap, and they did a decent job. (welding in a highflow cat)
I've got an example of the work from Exhaust Bros in Geelong hanging in my garage at the moment......... dont go there, seriously. The welds are absolutely horrendous to look at, there's mig wire inside the pipes (as well as a heap of slag), and the welds leak anyway. I could have done a better job with the 50 year old Arc welder buried in the shed somewhere.

Re: Recommended Exhaust places for mx5 in Vic?
my resonator has had it and i'm sick of the buzzing but ideally not looking to go all out as it's my daily cruiser
so was thinking since it's from midpipeish may as well do from there down something that will free up a little power without gaining in fart decibels too much
Most people are just selling the muffler, etc.

Havoc Fabrications in Keysborough have worked on a number of MX5s including mine, his welding and work is top notch.
