NC Car Make Corn*s Exhaust

Postby jaycrab » Sun Sep 06, 2015 8:46 pm

I recently picked up and installed a used Corn*s exhaust. I was a little hesitant as I hadn't heard one before and couldn't even find a sound clip. Pretty rare I suppose.
They're straight out of :JDM:. The bathroom scales put it at 7.0kg. The flanges were slightly bent but I think I've got a good seal using a new gasket and sealant.
It looks and sounds fantastic. Heaps of burble on decel and a raspy/deep tone 8) I'm pretty happy with it. It's something different from the usual Goodwin/Racing Beat anyway.
What do you think?

Thanks. Not sure yet, I've only dríven in suburban areas. It's very quiet at 60-70km/h. Only 5-10% louder than stock. On acceleration it's probably 20-25% louder.

One week in. It's fairly quiet on the Hwy if cruising but can drone in low revs when engine braking. I.e coming to a stop at lights if not down-shifting. It's not a commuter so no big deal. It feels more rev happy over 4k and sounds great so I'm happy. The downside to this sporty feel is the much more apparent body-roll on spirited drives, which can be unsettling. Need sway bars...
