NC rear number plate holes

Postby jaycrab » Fri Sep 04, 2015 10:26 am

Guys this is a random and possibly stupid problem.
My rear NSW number plate holes don't line up with the threads on the boot lid, so I've got one side screwed in and the other blutaced.
Is there something simple that I'm missing (am I mad?) or do people drill a second hole in the plate to line up with thread?

May have just answered my own question. This looks like it would work cleanly;

I'd still love to know what everyone else is doing
thanks

I usually just drill the plate or the car, if it's a plastic bumper usually the car.

Yep, they don't line up with Aust plates. Automotive Plus do have an adapter for front and rear plates.

Thanks. I'll see if the mechanic can drill it at next service. I'm sure I'd stuff it up
