Hey cool, so they make wraps that repel tyre barriers now? Awesome

I'm guessing toothpaste isn't as 'gritty' as it once was.
Toothpaste used to be recommended for removing scratches and cleaning up plastic/hesalite wristwatch crystals.

Nowadays most watch collectors use Polywatch
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/WATCH-CRYSTA ... 48630fd2c0

It's also available on eBay from China/Hong Kong but might be worth spending an extra couple of cents looking for a reputable seller (haven't really checked out the above link, other than the picture includes the packaging) as the tube/printing is very easy to copy.

Might be worth a try on headlights for the cost of it. Tubes are pretty small though.
I've got some I can bring along

I used some 'Brasso' on mine, because it was lying around so didn't cost anything.....

Worked a charm!

I have some headlight/plastic restorer kits at home (if I can find them). Happy to let somebody test on a headlight on the dodgy day.

That depends.... is it decent vinyl? :P I used some shocking stuff on the roof of my Celica and it was not a fun experience :P If I can make it I can bring an extra applicator and some knifeless tape and give it a go with you.

Corner-weighting sounds like fun - a friend installed my Tein FlexZ coilovers for me a few weeks ago and we only did a pretty rough setup. Regulars first though.

I am actually off this time!
No kids Birthdays and no excuses... yet.

I have a VLSD I'm toying with putting in just to see what it's like.
Also I would really appreciate it if anybody has a buff and knows how to use it, having a look at my bonnet.

I'm game to help out with pretty much any job. I'll throw in a couple of extra stands and my tool box.

CaptainNate can vouch for my smoked chicken wings. I'll throw a couple of kilos in and bring them along.

Zero I'm sure I'll catch you before October but I have a 3M polish that sorts plastic lenses out really well. I'll put it in the boot tonight so I have it next time we catch up.

'Pirate' has 'RAIN-X' and says it's easy and very good - I will check SuperCheap and see if they have some, maybe also got some cut/polish here amongst the 15,143 car cleaning products I have! Just home from the 'zapper' on the Island then more surgery Thursday :(
