Okay, good news guys! While I was in Brisbane to watch the Liverpool FC game, an exciting package arrived.

I purchased a stock SE turbo kit which included:
- SE manifold
- SE turbo
- SE lines
- SE banjo bolts
- SE brace
- SE heat shields
- SE mixing manifold
- SE heater outlet pipe
- AEM intake for SE with charge pipe
- Forge bullet blow off valve
- Flyin Miata inlet elbow
- Begi inlet elbow with MoTeC intake temp sensor bung

I couldn't help quickly polishing up the housing a little.

Thanks, I used a red LED halo ringoff eBay. No the reflector is still in there the LED sits just behiind it and shines through.

This looks mad. Is there a write up on how to do it?

Nice car, what rear spoiler/boot lip is that? I have been looking at doing something to the rear of my nb8b for a while and I like the shape of that boot lip a lot compared to others out their.
Thanks.

Cheers! its a Jetstream type-2 ducktail spoiler.

Not too much has happened to the car however I have been gathering all the parts necessary for the turbo. I also modified my tail lights again so that the led ring is the only light shown and not the stock light until I brake and the stock brake light comes on. heres some photos a mate took of the car recently.

I have also been cleaning up the turbo/manifold/heat shields. Heres how they look.

I'm looking at getting some parts machined soon and I've been designing some custom chassis mount wing uprights.

Small update. Picked up an SE lip and TDR splitter, along with a custom X brace rollbar with door bar hinges added for future use thanks to Adam at AGI which I have begun painting mazda classic red.

Sorry for the phone pictures, I'll get some proper ones soon.

So I just spent the weekend at WTAC where I met Magpie and watched him compete in Clubsprint class and learnt a few things about his car. Also met a couple more mx5 owners too, was a great event. My car was also in the Show n Shine, heres a couple pictures of the car. I scrambled to get the rollcage in before the event, and it feels great with it in, a lot stiffer than the Brown Davis I had in previously.

Installing Zest Works gauge rings, didn't have the perspex for the small gauges in. Love them. PS. Sorry for phone pics

Received a few parts recently. Got a great deal on a new intercooler + innovate MTX-L wideband, also have some rx8 injectors on the way. I also got some splitter rods, unsure of where I want to mount them, ad they aren't as long as I thought. I may mount them from just in front of the fog lights. Contemplating making a new splitter and replacing the TDR one.

I'm going to be picking up a short shifter and Adaptronic ECU on Friday as well as some new wheels! 8)

Thank you :D Zest Works is a business I've started recently and I've been slaving away designing and prototyping products. I'm looking to make very high quality products for everyone at a good price. I'm really pleased with my gauge rings, taking inspiration from the classic 911's but I got them machined out of aluminium and polished. A little tweaking and I will release them for sale.

Are the splitter rods for show or function?

On my Integra, I've mounted them behind the bumper - holds the splitter and is not visible unless you look in the "mouth". There's also the added benefit of not getting in the way when I remove the bumper which is quick-release.
