I've also got ECUtek and have been meaning to speak to my tuner about getting the AutoBlip feature enabled to try it out.

Probably needs some testing to dial in the pedal percentage map but I think it would be a good feature if it's tuned right.

Seems like a simple enough map if it's the same on the MX5 (this is the Subaru one) :

To quote my mechanic. Launch control " A bit of a wank" Flat shifting he loved it, auto blipping he also liked. Once setup most features are controlled by cruise control select buttons. My mechanic races V8 Commodores , his car just under 600 hp. He really liked the features that the Ecutek can provide.

Nice, I hadn't seen the videos. Cool to see the flat foot shift and AutoBlip features working. I'm already a convert to the idea as my Evo has a dual clutch transmission that does both of those things with paddles :)

Do you know if the AutoBlip and Flat foot shifting are able to be switched by using the cruise button to go to a different map?

The reason I ask is that on my Evo I know that there are only some maps are able to be preset and switched using the cruise control buttons (fuel, timing, injector scaling etc..) but a lot of features aren't. If I'm going to the track to test out some features it would be good if I could try the AutoBlip map a couple of different ways or maybe turn it off if I want to.

My mechanic has the written info on Ecutek features eg auto blip etc. Its his day off today. I will email him for the info.
Pretty sure though once its setup tho all features are activated bycruise control and up to four features, maps can be stored. When taken for a drive Chris just oressed cancel button on cruise controland used select +or - to access features. Sometimes u held down cancel button for 1 second sometimes 2 secs.

I will email u instructions when I get them.

Plenty of info on the EcuTek website.
You can download those instructions from there.
Autoblip is cute but you'd only use it on trackdays..maybe
