strut tower brace torque specs

Postby Garido » Thu Mar 05, 2015 5:52 pm

Hi folks,

I have some front and rear mazdaspeed strut tower bracing I'd like to install. Anyone got an idea on torque specs. While probably don't as sensitive as rebuilding an engine or diff I don't want to destroy a thread or have them too loose.

Thank you all ^^

I reckon they will be the same as if the brace was not fitted so "Upper shock mount plate bolts" in the suspension section of this shoud work just fine.

Same torque as stock.

It's not a lot of torque they need, I just wind them until they reach the bottom out, then do another 1/4 turn or so.

Kind thanks to both for their help. Will let you know how I go but should be fairly straightforward.

They'll work just as well with blutack.
