Urethane Bushes

Where can you buy them from locally? No-one seems to stock any.

I can buy the Energy Suspension ones from Summit / 949 Racing etc for around $190 US but add in $65 shipping and divide by the Aussie dollar and it gets pretty pricey. ($350)

Expect to pay 2-3x that for a set locally.

The energy bushes are an excellent thing for a performance oriented MX5 and are great value compared to local prices.

Ok, I've read through all of the posts here on Energy suspension bushings and super pro.

The posts on energy bushings are fairly old so have been in cars for a good while now. I'm leaning towards the energy bushings as they seem like excellent value, but would like to hear follow up feedback from people who have installed them before I decide. Any comments from users regarding problems or lack of problems longer term? I do not use this car as a daily, just club sprint days and the occasional club run.

Sourcing them is the hardest part. You can buy them from 949 Racing however it will cost around $350 landed in Aus due to shipping and the low Aussie dollar.

I ended up buy some unused ones locally and I'm going to be modifying them with the slip bearing idea. The problem with urethane is you need to constantly grease them to keep the movement free.

Yeah, not terribly interested in having to constantly disassemble the suspension to maintain it. Sounds very unappealing. I like to do stuff once then not think about it again for a ages, too much other stuff to do.
