New NB SP owner - need help with a few repairs

Postby kriscafc » Mon Aug 10, 2015 9:39 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm the proud owner of an SP that I drove back from Bellingen to Melbourne last week. Was a great way for us to become acquainted! Not had an MX-5 since my SE was written off in Cyclone Yasi, so great to be back :D

Looking forward to joining a few events soon!

I have some bits and pieces that need doing to bring the car back to tip top condition. I'm not from Melbourne originally nor am I much of a mechanic, so I'm after some recommendations on where I can get some things done...

- a few minor and major part replacements and installations (bulbs, mats, air vent)
- some small repairs (e.g fuse for radio replacing, roof clip on drivers side fixing)
- a respray of the front nose and the roll bar removed

Where are some good places to go who know MX5s well? I'm based out near Chadstone.

Many thanks to all!
Kristian

Yep, been round to dicks shop a fair few times in the last couple of weeks, they do mechanical and paint.
Nice guys, good work and they have been the cheapest quote consistently for a range of work.

Hi kristian,

Welcome and congratulations on your SP.

please add your name to the SP owners list
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=41971&start=135
Your production number of your car can be found on the underside of your carbon air box.

A picture and a few details of your car would be nice also.

I usually keep an eye out for Sp's for sale. Don't know how I missed this one.
