Garret GT25 turbo with intake and a new pod filter. I have them all coming out of my car by the end of this week. Turbo is blowing a little smoke on start up so we think its just a seal but will know when it comes out. turbo has only done about 3000Km but was laying around a few years unused after Neil stopped racing it. Luckily I have a spare brand new set.
I have a few spare SP goodies but for your exhaust contact Dann Jolly he sells a 3" system from the SP dump back that's a real cracker. He may even still have the 3" SP dump back race exhaust he pulled off my white car still lying around he can let you have cheap.

Got some 17" SE rims and fit them on.
Pretty happy with the color as they match the paint
Will need to lower the car slightly to make them flush, but not bad for one afternoon.

Not long after buying my SE I took the 17's off ... fitted my lighter 15" Racing Harts ... ran for a few weeks ... hated it!
Re-fitted the original SE rims & won't be changing.
These wheels make the SE & the ride/handling is nowhere near as bad as "some" may infer ...
... just my opinion ...

Thanks for the offer Richard, I already have a SP Manifold, GT2560, Dump Pipe and 3" exhaust. In fact it looks awfully similar to yours! Which Dann are you referring to?
The 3" exhaust I have is straight through tho, so I'll need to get someone to modify it and put a Cat on it if I hope to get it registered right?

Tonight I put in a Momo Steering Wheel I bought off another forum member.
Got the HKB Boss kit OR-230 from Mania, $135, comes with airbag delete and fits very well.
Having a read off the service manual as well as http://revlimiter.net/blog/2013/11/nb-steering-wheel-install/ really helped me get a good idea of whats involved.
1. Remove OEM Nardi wheel according to service manual.
2. Insert the HKB boss, making sure the arrows line up
3. Plug in the airbag delete resistor and the horn wire.
4. Wrap the airbag cable around the boss and thread the horn wire through. Insert the plastic boss cover. Tighten the main nut.
5. Got stuck here for a while, there was a spacer provided in the boss kit that I THINK I was supposed to fit between the steering wheel and the boss, since I can't read Jap I took a guess by looking at the diagrams. In the end my bolts weren't long enough to screw into the boss with the spacer in so I took the spacer out, was able to just thread the mounting bolts in after that. Tmr I'm gonna go to the hardware store to get some longer bolts because i'm not comfortable with having the bolts only about 2mm screwed in.
I have to say I love the ergonomics of this wheel! Fits my hands like a glove, and the soft leather feels nice.

NitroDann for the exhaust. He has a complete system from the SP dump back and it will easily pass emissions. As far as getting it registered goes, all you need is a friendly engineer. I know one if you want. It will cost you $1200 for the certificate and he will go through your car thoroughly so it needs to be as good as you can make it. They don't let anything slip. You will need a fully enclosed box or cover for your intake, stock seats, no roll bar, heat shields over the turbo, it must be 100mm ground clearance over lowest point with you in the car.
The hard bit is actually getting your tune good enough to pass the emissions test. It took me 3 goes.
All worth it in the end though as you have no insurance without it and if you crash into a Porsche or a house, your screwed. For me it wasn't worth the risk. Many will disagree and just drive it and they would probably will be fine but I would be the 1 in 50 they would catch.
Its really great when its all finished though. If they are ever really finished.

You're going to have to put the original steering wheel back in for RWC too, your car came from the factory with an airbag so it needs the airbag.
Also, to avoid any hassles with the rims, put your originals back on for RWC, the SEs came with the abominable 17x7" Racing Hart boat anchors whereas other NBs came with 16x6.5" rims. I believe you can go up to 1" wider than OEM and that this is just a 0.5" difference but you want as few questionable mods as possible for RWC.

Hey Lokiel, I recently acquired a set of said 16x6.5" rims for the Astina.
With a set of new tyres, guess what the weight difference is to a set of 17" Racing Hart rims with new tyres?..... 100g.
The RH are exceptionally light for factory 17" rims and are only 1Kg heavier than the soon to be released ultralight 6UL 17" rims for the ND.
Anyway, sorry for the hijack Scorp, you will have to, as mentioned, re-install the airbag steering wheel for rego/engineering and it will be a potential source of defect at other times.....

From MINX's thread, with decent light 15" rims, the difference is significant and would be more so if he had 225x45x15 or 205/50/15 tyres:

On our bathroom scales my 15" RH's weighed in significantly lighter at 12.5kg vs 16kg for the SE 17's ... but to me (and more importantly the significant passenger) the extra sidewall and lighter weight just felt too "bouncy" and busy on the stock suspension. That said, from all the negativity around the forums about the stock SE suspension, I seem to part of a minority who really like the feel of the stock set up!

For a RWC, they probably won't notice the 17' rims.
They will notice the missing airbag. I think it's silly to remove a critical safety item. If you had a big accident, an airbag could be a lifesaver.
