Very nice. Do they sit you much lower? I would expect they would. Shame those seats don't come around more often.

I feel the same about the SE seats, those ones look good. Are you guys coming to Notmeet at Easter because i would love to check it out. I have a dicky lower back (its more so seat shape, rather then harshness that gets me) and really need to consider my options because i feel like i'm going to fall out of the car going hard on bumpy corners lol.

Yes, we are booked in for Notmeet. Welcome to try them out.
Had a couple of 1 hr drives in them now. They are a good compromise between OEM and Sparco.
Firm on your bones, because no padding, but so great for driving feel.
The big issue with the SE seat is the springs in the seats, when you hit bumps my head bounces up above the windscreen!
But with hard body seats, you dont move, you just feel the suspension and chassis working.
The pump up lumbar helps, but atm the drivers side is going down, leaky.
Another challenge for me to find.

Re: Stuart & Lisa's MINX
Awesome day at QR today- great Autumn weather.
The Nitto Tyres made a substantial difference.(Purchased last week from Option1 Garage $203 each!)
Managed some PBs, but lacked a bit of confidence on the Sportsman and National with a damp T2 and sun in the eyes there also late in the day.
Times from;
QRClubman 1:05.43 / QR Sprint 1:01.87 / QR Sportsman 1:04.27 / QR National 1:30.43
to
QRClubman 1:04.61 / QR Sprint 1:00.81 / QR Sportsman 1:06.9 !!! / QR National 1:28.36
PS Carbotechs FTW!
Tried Hawk HPS front and rear - great road pads - but only lasted 3 laps of clubman before they got hot and were useless.
I ran long at T3 as it wouldnt pull up.
Threw the Carbotech XP10s in the front, and Bingo! Car stands on its nose everytime!

Re: Stuart & Lisa's MINX
How do you find the carbotechs for daily driving? Or do you swap them out after track days?

Re: Stuart & Lisa's MINX
I spotted these at Bunnings the other week and thought they could be a cheap way to get spares for inflatable lumber supports. They are for levelling or wedging doors and windows during installation.
Made me think of your post about the leak and thought I'd pass it along.

Cheers Corners, that was the next thread on my unread list.
These seats certainly have gotten around.

Ehhh...unless you have a 22" waist, I doubt the Bunnings winbag will be big enough! The ones on Lokiel's seats are standard on the Elise seats.

Correction: The inflatable bladder was standard on the 2005 Lotus Elise seats (non-Probax). From 2006 onwards, Lotus seats use Probax inserts which actually provide support/padding and they did away with the bladder. Mine now has the Probax inserts and unless the bladder is fully inflated, it's almost unnoticeable, which is why they probably deleted it on Probax-fitted seats.
