it appears I have a rear left wheel brake fluid leak. plan to have a better look tomorrow. also noticed I have oil sprayed about under the central stone tray.
just wonder if the brake lines to the rear run down the centre of the car or along the sills
picture if possible would be ideal
thanks

look at rear rotor, follow lines you see. they are all visible.

MSM (SE) factory manual, & if you use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer you can save the whole , or which ever parts of the manual you need:

Just had a quick look at the brakes section, & noting that it's for the USDM LHD MSM (SE) the brake line to the rear in the diagram on page two shows it going down the passenger side from the ABS, so for the ADM RHD it should go down the passenger side from the ABS to the rear. In other words it goes down the near side in both LHD & RHD, which of course are opposite sides. On the NA8 at least it follows the chassis rail.

Re: diagram of nb mx5 brake line to rear of the car wanted
Unless you rally it, it is probably not lines or fitting, but that is possible. My guess is that it is leaking from the seal on the calliper piston, in which case it would be running down onto the disks and the lower part of the calliper.
Easy to identify: jack the car up, put an axle stand or similar under it, and pull the wheel off and have a good look around. It will be, literally, staring you in the face.

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
