Adaptronic - simply awesome customer support & they listen to suggestions.
One recent example is Andy spending two days measuring ID injectors with an Adaptronic injector driver so they could be re-characterised as accurately as possible!

Re: Give credit here for great work done on your car
Just had a service done on my NC by Memmotts located at The Grange here in Brisbane
Very easy to deal with, good Pricing, Did what was asked and would call me if any extra work was required.
Turns out the head guy used to be a service technician at Mazda back in the day of the SP MX-5's and knows a fair bit about them.
Handy that it's walking distance from home.

Just had a touch-up tune on my Adaptronic by Dave at Mania - idles nice and smooth now, doesn't stumble at idle when hot.
Also had an alignment done at Spinning Wheels - Stu did a great job as always. I had power steering removed and Stu has tweaked it such that it doesn't feel completely de-powered. Easy to drive around town, with just a little more effort required than with p/s - previously it was heavy at standstill...no longer!

Huge credits to Automotive Plus in Brisbane!
The staff are friendly, explain everything and the car is always ready on time. I have just had the NA serviced [every 6 months regardless of how much it has done] and also a few days later the NB8A in prep for my next track day 20 July. After having the injectors serviced back in early May I have to say the NB has never run better and I have had it over 5 years now
Jason rebuilt the NA engine back in 2011 and in 27,000km it has not missed a beat, being a B-Spec there were a few hurdles to jump but they did it fine and any test by anyone will show 'Animal' maintains it's grunt!
Also nice to see the guys at most Club track days, reassuring for many that those who service their cars can be close by if needed
Can't forget the very special Deanne who must be the friendliest receptionist and I'm sure there isn't an MX5 she doesn't know
Thanks for the great team Danny

Again just want to say what great service I get from AJ at MX5 Mania, I order the parts and in most cases have them arrive in Toowoomba within two days, plus the prices are pretty good, I only buy from an over seas supplier if I can't source it locally

Giving credit for a forum member, Rolley. He's done a few things on the beast for me now - top notch work through and through! Just looking for a good way to repay him someday now

Adelaide Speedo & Gauge Service - located in Myponga SA - John Morton ... http://www.adelaidespeedo.com.au/
If you need anything done with gauges he's worth talking to.
Did a great job with fixing a strange fault with my speedo. Even came down and picked it up and delivered it back to me! Nice guy and bit of a Mazda enthusiast - owned a few rotaries in his time.
