Interchangeability of front wheel bearings

Are NB8C (in my case an SE) front wheel bearings the same as other NBs, or as NAs for that matter?

I thought the front bearings were a non-servicable part of the hub assembly?

Yes, you can change yours with any other NB8B.

NB front wheel hubs can come with out-board or in-board ABS rings. Both physically fit but I had to machine the lip surface to fit the outboard ABS ring last time I got one from America. I'm not sure if it's just model dependant or Market dependant but my NB8B is definitely outboard.
